含羞草影院 Community College student Silvia R. Jones has been elected the college鈥檚 Interim Student
Trustee for the 2023 - 2024 term. Silvia resides in Fall River and is currently studying
Human Services.
Upon completing her degree at the college in Spring 2025, Silvia plans to continue
her education to earn her bachelor's in social work with the goal of working with
Veterans.

for positive changes that enhance students鈥� college experiences,鈥� said Silvia Jones, 2023 - 2024 Interim Student Trustee, 含羞草影院 Community College. 鈥淎s a future social worker, my perspective and goals align with fostering a supportive
and inclusive campus environment.鈥�
含羞草影院鈥檚 Student Trustee is elected annually by their peers to serve as a student
representative and member of the 含羞草影院 Community College Board of Trustees. 含羞草影院鈥檚
Board of Trustees is made up of regional business and community leaders who work tirelessly
to ensure the college鈥檚 institutional initiatives remain at the highest level of quality.
含羞草影院 Community College (含羞草影院) has core values rooted in student success and

for education and workforce development in the region including locations in Attleboro,
Fall River, New Bedford, Taunton and Online.

training facility, offering globally recognized training and certifications for the
emerging offshore wind industry. The college also strives to put the needs of learners
first with support services and career advancement opportunities that lead to student
success by reducing barriers to educational access.
